Well, I'm now 2 days past my due date and I feel like I'm going crazy! I'm trying to stay busy and distracted, but everyone keeps asking me how I am feeling, pretty much every hour. I am beginning to think that it's never going to happen.
Today I tried to get an appointment with my OBGYN for today, but was informed that two of the doctors were on vacation this week, so there are no appointments available today. Great timing. I also was planning to make some labor-inducing lemon cupcakes, BUT apparently there is a lemon shortage and nobody is carrying lemons!!! What are the chances?
So, I am back to square one, just waiting. I have an appointment tomorrow, so we'll see if I've made any progress. I'm not one to usually complain about being pregnant because I have had great pregnancies, but at this point, I am just so over it. I want to meet my little girl and I want to not have this humungous belly anymore. Who would have thought that my third kid would be the latest?
On a slightly different note, Chris (my husband) and I enjoyed a beautiful double date day in Annapolis yesterday with our friends, Rachel and Daniel after church. We haven't had a date in a very long time and this was perfect for one last hurrah before Alivia came. We also thought that all the the walking might help me go into labor, but no such luck.
Here are some pictures of our day yesterday:
The amazing sermon yesterday, preached by Megan Hucko was the first in the "At the Movies" series. "Frozen" was the first movie used to preach and she was awesome! Naturally, Anna and Elsa made an appearance. Layla was scared that Elsa might hurt her with her frozen powers...
Not too much going on right now, but hopefully there will be very, very soon! I'm praying that this baby comes out by tomorrow because I'm afraid I'm going to lose my mind!
